What am I used for?

The SafetyLink X-Rail is a Horizontal Rail System suitable for use as part of a personal fall protection system. The X-Rail offers a horizontal rail system with one or multiple Mobile Anchor Points for attaching to. The X-Rail can be installed in three orientations; overhead, wall and floor.

Easy for manual handling and installation.
The X-Rail Horizontal Rail System is rated for up to 4 users per system and in any span.
SafetyLink’s NEW X-Rail system is an abseil capable rail system.
X-rail is suitable when limited fall clearance is available.
Easy for pull testing when installed into concrete.
Must be chemically fastened (Chemical Adhesive).
Easily integrated into the structure of a building and allowing continuous movement with innovative shuttle.
The X-Rail Horizontal Rail System is rated for up to 4 users per system and in any span.
The X-Rail Horizontal Rail System is compliant with AS/NZS 1891.2, EN795:2012 and PD CEN/TS 16415:2013.

The rail is designed to achieve access to a wide range of scenarios, forming a complete system, it can be installed in three orientations; overhead, wall and floor.

The X-Rail’s lightweight design and minimal components ensure an effortless quality installation. Rail lengths fasten together with the Rail Joiner creating a seamless join, ensuring the shuttle passes continuously and freely along the system. X-Rail’s design is rated for four users per system and in any span.

The X-Rail system comes in standard 6m rails with your choice of stock fittings. Custom made rail sections and corners can also be supplied upon request to meet your personal requirements. If you require a specific length or certain angle for your X-Rail, SafetyLink’s team have an inhouse manufacturing team to meet your needs.

Testing the X-Rail when mounted to concrete is done on site, no dismantling required. SafetyLink has designed a special nut (X-Rail Donut) and tool (Pull Test Adapter) for pull testing. When using the pull tester with Pull Test Adapter, slot the adapter into X-Rail nut on the concrete fixing to commence the test.
